Alkalinity enhancing powder for swimming pool chemical balancing.
Product Details:
Total Alkalinity is a measure of the “buffering capacity” of water, or its ability to resist a change in pH.
The recommended level for swimming pool water is 80-120 ppm. When pool water is found to be low in alkalinity (below 80 ppm) it is recommended that this level be increased.
When used correctly, this will help prevent pH fluctuations, resulting in a more stable and consistent pH value of between 7.2 to 7.8
It will also prevent eye irritation, equipment corrosion and prolong the life of your pool surface (plaster, grout, etc).
Dosage:
180 grams for every 10,000 liters to increase by 10 ppm
Allow the product to circulate in the pool for at least 3-4 hours for optimal efficiency.
